About Nicky Milligan... Healer
"To heal is to make whole" or to do the best you can to help in a given circumstance. Ideally I see Healing as a complimentary activity to orthodox medicine, not an alternative to it which could be a dangerous option.
I am a State Registered Nurse and Midwife and gained experience working in both fields before qualifying as a Health Visitor and spent all my working life in the NHS in the community and loved every minute of it.
When my children left home I qualified as a Healer and later on as a Reflexologist... and then realised how many interesting therapies were out there to be investigated. I gradually added various therapies to my repertoire which meant that I could offer a wide range of options to my clients.
These therapies are all non invasive, gentle and very effective. They encourage the patients own self-healing mechanism to create a state of "ease" as opposed to "dis-ease". They blend with conventional medicine and are completely safe.
Healing aims to bring into harmony Mind, Body, and Spirit... sometimes one session is enough, but most people like to return several times and then for occasional top ups.
I have belonged to the Westcountry Natural Healing Fellowship for many years and was the Training Officer for 16 of them. I now arrange workshops on a variety of topics which are open to interested people.
I also facilitate workshops on a wide variety of topics, including Baby Massage, Reiki, Hopi candles, Indian Head Massage, Crystal Healing, Magnotherapy and Sound Healing and can offer a wide range of therapies as a result, making an individual programme for each client.
I have my CRB check, which is updated regularly and I'm fully insured with Embody, the Complementary Therapists Association.
